Masons TertleGame

You may think that being a turtle would be easy. After all, they do move really slowly and seem to bask in the sun all morning long. But it's not that easy for native turtles. Native turtles have to compete with invasive turtles for habitat and food. A lazy turtle would not survive in the wild. They may move slow, but that doesn't mean they can't have active lifestyles. They also have trash and pollution to worry about. In a perfect pond with no trash, invasive species, and suitable food and habitat, the turtles would thrive, but unfortunately things don't work that way. You must help the turtles by trapping invasive turtles, getting rid of trash so it doesn't pollute the water, and filtering the water if it does get polluted by trash. The turtles need your help in order to survive.

  1. okay so this game is very complete and very high tech so applause for that! Something you could work on is maybe making it less hard or create a beginning level leading up to the round you have now so you can get the hang of your game. Whats fun about your game is that its very complicated and unique which is a good thing because its not like everybody else's game. Keep up the good work(:

  2. 1. i thought the game was very stressful ( it was pretty good overall), and i really liked how you involved the invasive turtle.
    2. i actually did enjoy collecting the trash.
    3. that you make the non invasive turtle visible and that you make it so the food dose not continue to show up so much.

    1. That's actually when the native turtle is covered by the invasive one. I think it's an accident and it needs to be fixed.

  5. OK it took awhile to get the hang of the game, but I like that it has alot going on. It was not clear in the instructions that I had to click and move the items in the water, so you might clear that up in the instructions. Also with so many things going on, you need some really good sprites to help give visual cues about what to do. The mechanics of the game work pretty well. In the tutorial level I think things should happens slower with a message to give the player more time to become accustomed to each new instruction

  7. I learned that native turtles are in direct competition with invasive turtles and that pollution is another big problem, though I was unable to come up with the third thing (unless the turtel growing was one of them. if so you should somehow make it clearer that that is a legitimate fact.) The difficulty did get higher as i went on but slowly. It would be nice if it scaled a little quicker. My one critique would be to make it so the turtles can not overlap each other.
