you are a pika, well right now you an apple, but just ignore that. use your imagination!The point of the game is to get to the level up while picking up flowers for health and avoiding the ferret!
sounds exiting i know... but the flowers are mushrooms and the ferret is a banana.
remember USE YOUR IMAGINATION, it's there I promise. P.S your walking on strawberries
this game is really good but simple you should add another world when you have time. i love the ad too your game it is funny and creative. i love that you made the ground straw berry's but you should change that for the final game.

ReplyDeleteI liked that you had to avoid the "ferrets, and they were sometimes challenging to dodge.
I would suggest making it impossible to jump off of the edges of blocks.

DeleteYour game is really fun, and fit very well with our reasearch, asspeacally the part that bannanas kill the pika. it was fun to find shortcuts in the game that probably wernt even planned probbably. one thing you can make better is the end, you shd probably make a better way of turning the game off. -Eddie

ReplyDelete1. I don't know if fit with the research but I'm assuming ferrets eat pikas and food will help them. However I don't think it is just lack of food that is causing the pika populations to decline. Isn't it also climate change that is killing them? Maybe there's a reason you didn't incorporate climate change but right now the game feels like it's missing something.
2. The mechanics were good and it was easy to move around.
3. It was very annoying to have to hold down the ESC button when you reached the level sign. That is a glitch that needs to be fixed.
OK the sprites deffinately need to get fixed, because running away from a bannana just feels wrong. The meachanics of your game are mostly working. The message box when you touch the level up icon needs to be fixed. It would be best if you either destroyed the level up object when touched or just go to another room so that problem doesnt exist. Good start.

i think your game was a nine out of ten because although it was really fun it wasn't so fun that i would play it all the time. your game was great and i loved the sound effects

you should update the intro screen and fix a bug were you hang by your head off a block and cant fall i took a picture i will show you soon but i got stuck in a tiny hole

2. 6/10 i think the info is good but it should be more noticeable
3. 4/10 update the info screen fix the glitch soften the sprite make sounds louder and add more
i would give this 10 points i learned climate change is the biggest problem and they live in hey piles
