you thought your life was hard well try being a pika for a day. in this game you will be fighting giant weasels and searchinghidden trash, you will be courageous and strong. NOPE, just kidding. you will be a small innocent creature gathering
food for the winter. But pikas have dangers too. in this game what you will actually be running from weasels and making the dangerous
journey towards a flower and then make your way back to the small green hay pile where you will move on to the next level. and
during all of that you have to do it before the temperature gets above 78 degrees.
The game looks cute and flowers and haypiles have to do with the research, but the info screen was not helpful. You cant collect the flowers. If i could change the game i would make it so you can collect the flowers and put them in the haypile.

DeleteThe game has a lot of potential, but the information screen doesnt tell me what i am supposed to do and you cannot progress to the next level or collect flowers. the game was fun because you could jump really high and the gravity worked, but i would advise improving the collisions with the pika.

Your info screen is mostly blank, I guess the grey smiley face is bad, I guess the orange smiley is a pika, I guess the green square is a haypile, but when I go to it nothing happens. This is a solid start but I dont yet know what the point is. An info screen or messages would help.

ReplyDelete2) The first level would have been better as a second level in my opinion because it was not very simple to beat, but the second level was a good difficulty compared to the first. The third level was good, and so was the fourth until I got stuck in a hay pile and could not escape.
3) As I just said, there was a glitch where I got stuck in a hay pile so that should be fixed. I had to close the game and reopen it but after that I finished the game. I think the first tutorial needs to be easier. Also you should probably work on the spelling and spice up the info screen a little. Other than that it was a good game! I really liked the way your tutorial was built into the game.
i enjoyed your game it was good at showing that the weals is a enemy of the pike and they eat flowed also i thought the temperature aspect was cool. i couldn't rely get past the 3rd level. maybe try and as some space to stand that was one of my biggest problems id fall of of that 3 step. -grace

1) This game was SUPER fun and it really hooked you. I give this game a 9 out of 10 on the fun scale.
ReplyDelete2) This game did help you learned a lot.I learned that Pikas cant live in areas about like 75 degrees. I give you 8 out of 10
3) One thing you can do to improve is make it so you can redo the one level with out having to restart the whole game if you mess up.
4) This game was very well developed and had sounds,sprites,and what I liked most-many levels. I give you 8 out of 10, you didnt have action sounds.
I liked your game but I'm going to give you a seven out of ten because you have only one enemy which made it a little boring. I found out that pika's can only live in temperatures under 78 degrees so I will give you a 7 out of ten for education too. You get a 5 out of ten for the sounds and sprites because the pika is a brown block and there are only two sounds. i suggest you change the sprites and add more enemies.

ReplyDelete2. It was actually pretty educational. I haven't done nearly as much research as you probably have but being in the rodent family I have looked into them and already knew much of what was here but if I hadn't then good info! 9/10
3. Now this is were it gets bad. With the time we had this game could have been much better and developed. The game was fun most of your sprites where good except the pika itself, you had sounds though not as many as you should have and the interactions where limited. With that I give you a 4/10
4. You, my friend, only need more time some inspiration and a lot of improvement on your programming skills.
